Alamo Eye Care - Our Practice

Dr. Davis specializes in difficult to fit contact lens patients, especially Keratoconus, the treatment for eye disease, especially glaucoma and dry eyes and also Laser Vision Correction. Dr. Davis is one of the most experienced optometrists in San Antonio in Laser Vision Correction.

He is past president of the Bexar County Optometric Society. He has also served on the Board of Directors and as an officer for the Texas Optometric Association. He is a past Medical Director of the San Antonio Chapter of the Society to Prevent Blindness. Dr. Davis is a member of the American Optometric Association.

Dr. Davis is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Houston, College of Optometry and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Indiana, School of Optometry. He is also a Fellow of the American Board of Clinical Optometry and a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry.

Dr. Davis is a Major in the Texas Air National Guard and Chief of Optometric Services at Ellington Field in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Davis is a parishioner of St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church and is a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus. He volunteers at the Haven of Hope Shelter, providing free eye exams and eye care to the indigent population. He has also been involved with the Lions Club since 1986.

When not at his practice, serving the Air National Guard or volunteering, Dr. Davis enjoys spending time with his children and grandchildren. He also enjoys scuba diving, snow skiing, traveling, reading and running. He has completed 10 marathons and would like to try sky diving in the near future.

Ms. Stacey Carter, ABOC

Stacey is a certified optician with over 20yrs experience. Stacey has taken care of hundreds of our patients at Alamo Eye Care and has several aspects of opticianry including optometric technician, frame stylist and laboratory services. She is one of the first smiling faces you will see when you walk through the front door.

Stacey is very family oriented and has great customer service. Your eye health and eyeglass fashion is her top priority when you are here.

Ms. Dalila Rabago

Dalila is an industrious individual that has been active in the eye care industry for over five years. She is highly skilled and cross trained in several areas, including frame styling, ophthalmic lens selection, contact lens technician and doctor's assistant. She enjoys answering questions concerning glasses and contact lenses.

When not at work she enjoys spending time with her husband and son. They have purchased a new home and Dalila enjoys decorating it.

Ms. Tricia Hurst

Tricia has been working for Dr. Davis for 12 years and has been in the Eye Care Business for 14 years. She is the office manager at the Ingram office. Her duties include everything from verifying insurance benefits to assisting patients with choosing eyewear and everything in between. Tricia is obsessed with customer service and is dedicated to making the patient's visit extremely satisfying.

When not at work, Tricia enjoys time with her husband, children and grandchildren. She has also found a new interest, cycling and aerobics!

Miss Clarissa Arispe

Clarissa is an affable individual who serves the practice as a doctor's assistant. She has been employed by Alamo Eye Care for a bit over one year. She very much enjoys assisting patients with selecting various forms of eyewear.

Clarissa is currently seeking a bachelor's degree in Biology at the University of Texas at San Antonio. She wishes to pursue a career as an optometrist. She is highly interested in attending the University of Houston, College of Optometry in the near future.

Clarissa also volunteers for programs such as Big Brothers, Big Sisters of America and the Down Syndrome Association of San Antonio. On her free time, she enjoys drawing, riding motorcross and spending time with her family.

Ms. Janie Bueno

Janie has over 35 years experience in the optical industry. She is manager of our Northwoods office. She is fluent in Spanish.

Janie is excellent at assisting the patient in choosing the right style frame and correct lens design for each individual's need. She understands the intricacies of ophthalmic lens designs. It brings her a great deal of satisfaction to make someone very happy with their glasses.

When not at thr practice, she and her husband enjoy spending time with family and friends. She loves to Country & Western dance.
